I found this button detecting at an old homesite today. I'm pretty sure it is military, but I'm not sure what war or era. Any info would be much appreciated! And If anybody could tell me how to clean it or if I should clean it that would be appreciated as well. I also have a video to go along with it. Thanks for looking!

It is a great Seal Button. The great seal was added at 1907 to present. Cool find. Clean with some mild soap and a tooth brush. Nice Find.

it is a great seal button first used in 1902. Yours dates after 1910 because it has a rim. BigCypressHunter has an excellent thread on these buttons and their back marks. Here's a link. You don't have to read all the pages if you don't want to as the last page (I think) has the most up to date list.
