I'm not a button expert, but from what I can see in the pic, it looks like a livery button to me. Could you clean it and post another pic? Breezie

That monogram looks like something from Finland. I think Norway has the same without the crown.

sorry this button has been cleaned as best i could
it's a two piece with the back gone
measures 3/4"

It's a 1900's blazer button. A couple ways to tell is by the blurry detail and the black paint in the low parts of the button. It had a tin back and either a tin shank or a self shank

I changed my mind. Although it has elements of the Belgian Crest I think it looks more like this blazer button with crest, crown & lions. These civilian blazer types often overlapped.
