Its a civilian button often called a modern blazer button, generic design, brass, self shank type with a steel back. Still made today but yours may be 20-70 years old. A kid probally lost it off his blazer. Minimal value if any. But its more interesting than finding a zincoln for sure.

Thanks! I was thinking so considering the button is so light compared to the solid 1800s buttons ive found
