Hi All-
I found this today on an old house site in Connecticut and I wonder if anyone recognizes this backmark or can date this button? Does anyone know the maker?

The backmark is pretty clean. From outer rim in it has a ring of dots, then alternating stars and what look like wheat and then there is a diamond around the shank. At the bottom of the diamond it "Stand Colr" is written.

Trying to date the site... I believe this is an early 19th century civilian button. Front is blank, edge slightly rounded (almost like a tombac).

Thanks all
