Really cool find the other day. It appears to be a butterfly pin or broach. Found I the middle of a corn field prob 200 yards from the nearest rd. Maybe 75 from the nearest house. A prior home stood on the same houses spot around the turn of the century. Anyone know its exact age or what it is exactly? Looks like the remains of a Victorian(ish) era enameled butterfly or moth brooch. I'm guessing turn of the 20th C give or take a decade - but popular long before that and still made by jewelry artisans today...

Too bad all the color is gone. Some are quite stunning.
