From the land of the Bluenose.....1030hrs...no Tony the Tiger! 1045hrs no Tony T! 1100hrs what the halibut this bouy is pointing Otto south down the 103 highway.

Think that Tony had more than his "water pipes" frozen so Otto and I hit the "island."

Gotz to say me son dat da wind she was high and a blowin right trew me! Where's a Bud when youz a needin un?

Otto was all alone in the parking lot and I took my time on the causeway side of the island thinking that Tony would arrive and maybe act as a windbreak as she was a blowin a bigtime youz!

Since this bouy didn't have his specs on looked like a pod of humpback whales out there. That is until Tony T arrived and informed me that those were islands. Um! Time to visit Dr. Beard for a new pair of glasses. At least I scored on him 3 times last season...can't keep his legs closed when playing between the pipes

Anyway Tony T wasn't taken no chances being a mis-steak-en for a deer as he had on the glow'n the dark orange and wore it well I might add!

Of course the bouy picked a fight with a sledge hammer when a fixin his water pipes with his big toe the loser....makes a good Hobbit youz!

So Tony T finds a toasty large cent and a token that is even too hard for a "brail " reader to read but he a found the gud ones even if it out popped out of a toaster which seems to be a reoccurring theme for coppers in Nova Scotia.

Well it happened. His batteries were a done out youz and he had no more. Gave him my extra set which lasted for ......um..............about an hour!

About this time that Tony T was finding the oldies I hit a chain of butterflies (see loot photo) that forgot to wing it south and a nice silver 1956 dime and button.

Was a getting dark soon.....or was it me hat falling over my eyes but we called it a day as Tony the Tiger hobbled back to his car. Had a nice pile....outside his pants you!

Anyway we headed home in the twilight. Had to stop at a store for a few lottery tickets. Well me son I should have had a magnet and me trusty ole Freedom 3 as the bouy behind the counter had more metal in his face than a junkyard. Looked like a cross between Mr. Clean with his shaven head and the main character from the film "Hellraisers." Lord love a duck he had so many piercings that I thought his ears looked like an ammo belt for a mg34!

So this bouy ended up with a 1956 dime, silver button, butterfly chain, Swiss Army knife (thank da Lord they weren't invading ), compact, 101 coins @$2.97

So I get home with me back oh so sore, knees a buckling (wish I had found one) and hands so rough that I have to sand paper them down before Marie will let me give her a hug!
