As usual, we didn't have a lot of time. Would like to go back sometime just for a photo trip.

Yes, I wish I'd had more time... Could easily spend days there photographing it.Butte's got some beautiful historical areas....
Back in 2011 I stayed the night in that old mansion known as the Copper King Mansion. I took a few pictures when I was there. In the stairway I took a pic at night of a large stain glass window and one in the morning when I was heading out. Kind of a spooky place it was. Lots of clanging and banging from the expanding steam heat pipes through the night.
That's good to know. I checked out their web site and was thinking about staying there next time we're in Butte... Not so sure now.Back in 2011 I stayed the night in that old mansion known as the Copper King Mansion. I took a few pictures when I was there. It was an experience for sure that I did enjoy. I took a shower in this modern marvel in plumbing of the Victorian era. The proprietor of the place gave me the proper instructions on its operation. It shot streams of water at you from head to toe in all directions. It had two or maybe three valves you turned off and on in a sequence. If you didn't do it correctly it would flood the bathroom. That's good to know. I checked out their web site and was thinking about staying there next time we're in Butte... Not so sure now.
