Butcher supply plate found while bottle diggin'

Found this thing yesterday. At first, I thought it might have been some sort of belt plate. It came out completely encrusted.

that is a nice plate! I found a way on line to clean rust from old soda cans don't know if you can use this method on your plate... So DO NOT use this method til someone with more experience says it's OK to use.... http://www.rustycans.com/DUMPING/cleaning.html

I actually pulled out a good chunk of Iron with this thing. It was the other parts. I think.
