By design influence it looks Renaissance / Florentine. Not to imply that its 15th Century. If 19th Century then its Renaissance Revival. Lobster tail helmet.

I think your medallion is a portrayal of St. George. Hence the dragon. It has similar design details as the cameo, ca. 1820, with its
lobstertail helmet, scaled earflaps & ruffles at the neck. This suggests they may have both been modeled after a more
commonly known image of St. George. I think your medallion is at least early 19th century.
