Everybody carries business cards, why not hobby cards? A card announcing you as a treasure hunter can open doors for you.

It can help you make friends with your local police department, it can reassure strangers that you're not a pervert, it can get you business in finding lost objects.

This show takes a look at designing business cards for the treasure hunter, and it offers suggestions for using the card after you make it.

Listen at http://thetreasurecorner.com.

I have a card, Dan. Mine says simply: Terry C and then a phone number. My "multi-use" card. I make them myself. Which means, they can be custom made in a moment. TTC

Terry, you've got the idea! plainwraps the best idea if you feel you need a card.

An old THer told me this over 30 years ago. "Notoriety is a bad thing". Over the years I'm sure we've read / heard the stories of break-ins etc. The best thing is to carry one of those dollar store note pads & a pencil. Get their number.

Leave your number with the police, rangers, Harbor Patrol, Parks & Recreation. At least that way theres a record, if something goes wrong.

I have a card that I use mainly for yard searches. I also do photography work and fine art prints so I make all my business cards. The TH card starts off Archaeological Search & Recovery It is on a 190# parchment type stock. A touch of class never hurts. Frank
