Hi, just got done burying my own cache. It cantains about 1.73 in change.A couple tokens.A one and two dollar bill.Stamps(US and world)Marbles.Poker chips.A wooden beaded necklace. And a note saying."This cache was buried by Matthew Ryan Frederick Kozloski on September 8th 12:30pm 2007". I buried this cache under a pillar to my deck. There is a marking in the wood that looks like this.

I hope to write a treasure book before my time is up.....Alright if I include your legend in it? Twisted

Wow you buried $1.17 million?

Now I will just tell my friends at a bar:)

I once found about 6 mayo jars buried in a yard.
They were all half filled with water.
I left them there.

Great idea. Love the symbol drawing too. Thanks for the post.

Awesome Idea! I have so many rolls of circulated wheat pennies and other basically non-valuable coins that I might just do the same thing. Maybe in the future someone will find them and they will be worth something. Its always good to give back to the hobby that has given to you.

Im saving some coisn and starting my own collection because if i stick wiht coin collecting for awhile im burying a nice cache and leaveing a map of it lol

I buried a cache of coins when I was a kid...

Lemme know if you find it :-)

I burried one for my son 11 yrs ago.. and I left a map to it on the back of a map he drew of Treasure Island when he was 6 .. I have Framed the Map and put a note on the back of the frame.. the map also has a riddle which should guide him to the location near his Grandmothers. Its only $20 Susan B's but I thought it would make for a great adventure for him and his kids when I'm gone. Or maybe I'll still be arround when he finds the map maybe he'll have kids by then.. He's only 20 now

I should do something like that. I have a lot of wheaties just sitting in an old cigar box not doing nothing. I also have a lot of old food jars from the 60, I will bury a few $ out in the middle of my woods.
