I found what looks to be a bracelet in the mountains of Colorado a few years ago, it was buried in the dirt on the side of the hill but looked like water had washed it away exposing it. No idea what it is so my boss directed me to this site for advice, a jeweler told me it is silver but it has no stamping and he says he believes hand made. If anyone has any ideas of what or who from please share.

Looks Tibetan.

I’m not sure what that is just trying to figure it out or some how date it

Definitely looks like that to me!

Even though a jeweler told you this was silver... It does not appear to me that it is.

Did the jeweler test it ? ? ?

If you’ve got a jeweler to examine it and verify it’s silver that’s a great start. At least you know it’s not a cheap knock off like what is offered on Amazon in that style.

I don't want to sound harsh, but lets assume for a minute that its silver (I not convinced yet), its broken in several areas & would only be worth melt value IMO. It's value may only be in it's weight.

If they said a jeweler looked at it and said it’s silver...why the negative tone? I know the nature of some folks is to doubt everything they don’t find but come on....it’s a great eyeball find nevertheless.

Cool find- Congrats!!

Interesting!!!

Can tell with near certainty it is not silver

I’m not saying it’s something crazy and wild, but it is significantly different in person than the Amazon one shown above its isn’t layered as much it’s more stamped like hard to explain. I found it between mile high drag way and red rock Amphitheater. I will have to do more as far as silver testing but for being in the dirt for how ever long then sitting in my closet for atleast 5 years now it’s hasn’t shown any signs of rusting and it’s had nothing on it but the dirt wiped off it. I do agree the style and symbol of that one on Amazon are the same and that’s a good start for me, just have to see I guess it’s true material.

No harm if its not silver, wouldn't be worth all that much by weight if it was.
There are many alloys that don't rust or corrode ,,, Is it nicotine stained, patina looks a bit strange.

....I know nothing about the subject but after hearing where found, you should stroll down Pearl street Republic of Boulder. You can find that style and grade of jewelry.

Edit that patina is pachulay oil. I can’t spell it and It stinks...

It was probably made in Nepal. Could be of a coin silver content 800-925.
Haven't got a file picture of that one, but have rings other jewelry with the Mantra.
Looks like somebody bent the bracket to pop off the side emblems.
Here is one of my sample cases I photographed last year when I saw it in the vaults.
I can similar bracelets but they have a stone setting.

I'm pretty sure it's brass , not really old either, 80's
or 90's ..Tibet , or Indonesia are probable . Nice find !

Well hello interesting piece.
And just how did you come to rest here in the mountains on this hillside so far from your original home?

Neat find.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!
