MDing a river park trail. 1-1/2 hour hunt. I knew there were coins there but was surprised to find so many. 12 quarters, 24 dimes, 1 nickel, several pennies, 1 token, and 2 wheaties--1956D and 1958D--found almost at the surface--probably lost back in the day when you could occasionally find them in your change(the area isn't particularly old). It's nice to find some wheaties as I went a long period without finding any. All in all, better than getting skunked!
Side note: Lots of homeless on the river trail, including encampments. Since Covid, Tucson has seen a 10-fold increase in homelessness, itinerants, etc. I was wondering if others have observed this when out MDing...
