So I didn't have time yesterday to do any serious treasure hunting but there is an open area with a couple of hills with some large oak trees scattered throughout that I hunt occasionally. I have pulled a lot out of the area within the last year including a 14k band, 1800's horse shoes, square nails, lots of lead and a whole lot of clad but nothing silver - I still think there must be some currency from the 1800's in there somewhere as the land was part of an 1860's homestead (No luck yet though.)

Anyway, didn't expect to find anything and spent three hours digging a lot of junk just to be outside. A lot of wildlife which is always cool, deer, newts, salamanders, etc. Just as I was getting ready to pack up got a jumpy repeatable signal off the x-terra - 8-9 inches down wrapped in cloth I found what must have been a homeless persons stash from the early 70's? A comb, knife, a small vial (drugs?), and a little over a dollar in a mix of silver and clad. Not a great find but better than being skunked.

Nothing special, early sixties quarters and dimes, the half dollar was off by a few years. None of it is in good shape a lot of staining.

Homeless Harry is gonna come back to haunt you and Blingie.

I was really hoping you were not a English member when I seen the title.
