Bullseye detectoers

Hi, I'm a newbie. Anyone have an opinion on the bullseye type hand-held detectors to zero in on a signal. Was wondering if it would be worthwhile or a waste of $$.

RRey, I have one and I like it very much. I have been told that there are others on the market that have more range, but I like the size and convenience of mine with the cover and belt attachment. You can get some good prices for one on ebay....Lance
