Bulleyes 5.3 coil

Well I can tell you that by the size of the 5.3 coil you will not really be able to clearly identify targets good beyond 4 inches...Although it can go beyond that and still give good results, the size of the coil determines how deep it can lock onto a target that the VDI will be able to give a good identification to..............I would crank up the gain as far as it will go and still be stable without false signals and go to town with it......That seems to have always worked the best for me when using smaller coils, Tim
 

Had kinda the same problem with my eclipse 5.3 and I felt it was ground interferance. Dry conditions eehh. Moist ground awesome.
