Still new to detecting (started Oct 2016) I found a hand full of "lead" this weekend. I know most/all of the 2nd and 3rd row are modern. The Forth row....well you can see what's left.
I am unsure about the top row. Here is what I can tell you about where/what I found.

The are not .50cal (I would guess in the .40cal range?) I moved my office and I need to find my micrometer tool for exact size.
I found a shotgun shell circa 1905-1911 last year in the same area.

I have looked at the charts with all the examples but that just makes me realize how much I don't know....

Ok, since no one seems to have any ideas let me get the ball rolling. I actually found these on Oak Island I believe they are from the original money pit. They were left there by the inter-dimensional Sasquatch that came over with the Sinclair/Templar expedition.

Backwoodsbob will be with you shortly to discuss the signs in your bullets.:laughing9:

If I had to guess, I would say all are modern. We need some precise measurements to really help with some of the questionable ones.

Yep, them Jesuits are at it again. Seriously, need accurate measurements to be able to identify bullets. Measure in 1/1000 of an inch. Example, .357 is a 38 pistol bullet.

if in the 40'ish caliber range and lead might be from a old 45 -70 springfeild rifle ... many were sold off as surplus to civilians when the army up dated to the 30 /40 krag bolt action rifles

The bullets have vertical lines in the cannallur/rings. This will date them to around 1880 or newer. Maybe that helps.

Thanks Relic Nut,

That is what I was leaning towards, I am hunting in a park that is in the middle of my city. I will have my micrometer latter today and I will get exact measurement on them.
