Maybe someone can help me determine the era these items are from. I posted a pic of the tombac button a few days ago and was told how old it likely is. Here are some more items from that location that I believe may be fur trade era. I have many confirmed items from up until the 1870s at this site, but these stand on their own. The flat button turn sideways, has no marks and is by far the thinnest button I have ever found. Also can someone tell me how long round balls were used after the civil war? I’m trying to figure what era they may be. I’m starting to find the round ball was phasing out around 1860s....
