Re: Bullet Spill In the Water

That water is still pretty cold even with a wetsuit. Did a 4 hour warter hunt in lake Washington back in February, and thought me feet fell off. ;D

Re: Bullet Spill In the Water

Nice bullet spill find. Will have to join us for this years spring hunt. Check the 'Washington State' link posted here on TNet.

Re: Bullet Spill In the Water (Help ID Era)

Could these be more modern era .38 special wadcutter bullets. Possibly fired into the lake?

Re: Bullet Spill In the Water (Help ID Era)

I'm not real familiar with ammo, so I can't say if they are modern or old. I'm not sure they are fired bullets! Really caught me off guard for these finds. I'm just curious as to origin. Thanks.

Re: Bullet Spill In the Water (Help ID Era)

These are modern bullets, see the crimp slash marks in the groove.
Just must have been somebody taking target practice.

Modern it is....thanks for the info. I'll back to that area soon, so if I find some more I'll look for those groves.
