Bullet ID please?

Found this drop (?) at a Missouri farmhouse dating to 1843. Looks like it never hit a pouch for very long. Measures 12.2 mm from base to tip and 8.1 mm diameter base. Weighs 5.1 Gr. Not sure if it is Civil War or not, but other finds on the property suggest maybe. Any help is appreciated. CJ

I believe that you have a colt revolver bullet. probably .31 cal. Good find!

While i,m not familiar with the measurements id also say 31 or 36 cal colt.
