Bullet ID help Pre-1900?

I'm always hoping to find a civil war bullet.


My scale, a cheap one, 16 grams or 5/8 ounce.
17 mm long
11 mm wide
Looks like another ring or two above the deep one. Just very shallow.
I might be seeing things.
But, on the base it looks like a number or letter or something.
Might be my imagination.

Any help.

May be the 44 army revolver.
