Looks to be about .35 caliber. My guess is .38 Special or .357 Magnum. Crimping groove makes me think it is a revolver bullet. Monty

Knowing the caliber would help you get information on the bullet. A fairly easy way to do this is to determine the diameter in mm. Convert the mm to inches. The decimal measurement in inches is the caliber. Like a .45 ACP caliber bullet is 0.45"

I'm pretty sure it's been Id'd. You're correct Daryl, and the only way to measure for sure is with a caliper, but from the ruler my guess is going to be darn close. Monty
