Bullet I.D. please.

Found this bullet yesterday at a campsite, but cannot I.D. it. It is .50 calibre in size. It resembles the colt revolver rifle, but I am not sure it came in .50 calibre. Thoughts?

Colt revolving rifle did have a .50 cal. Measurements are: D-.500, L-.88 and it weighed 346 grains.

Ill agree it's 98% a Colt Revolving Rifle Bullet & a nice one .

I don't think I've ever dug one believe it or not . ?
