I found this in the same area we're finding 3 ringers and since it has the same
patina, I'm wondering if this is really old or just a modern bullet?

The wide and unusually deep "gutter" channel located a bit above your bullet's flat solid base, and the wide raised band above the gutter, combine to indicate it is one of the varieities of Maynard Model-1882 bullets. See the image below.
