Bullet guys

I admit I know nothing about this stuff. But after my last bullet finds I decided to go a bit deeper into my wooded property. This is what I found. Quite a few found in a short hunt. So what are they?

Also found this mangled bullet. Can't tell if it hit a tree...or something else!

The cartridges seem to be CB caps, they are rimfire, and shot very small, short range pest rounds. The also appear to be larger .22, and are possibly .32 rimfire, a common caliber at the turn of the 20th century
 

Sorry but that isn't correct GMD52. These are all crimped 'blanks' and carried no projectile at all. They are either shells from a starter pistol or, more likely, a tool such as a nail gun. They certainly aren't for killing pests, unless they died from the shock of the noise of them going off!
 

I found the same type mangled bullet as shown in the pic. I can't tell by the pic but is there a nurled pattern around the top of the brass?
