Went out yesterday before work an found this stuff, don't know what the round thing is but I've found these before here.



I've found some Yankee stuff here such as a Williams cleaner bullet, and a infantry button but the button dissolved in my hand Asa I dug it up

The round thing to the left in your photo is a part for an old bumbershoot.

What is a bumbershoot ? I always assumed these pieces were from some sort of Umbrella or maybe there the same type of use? + all CW finds are good ones , thanks for the pic,s.
