Bull Redfish Caught While TH'ing!

I caught this big redfish while treasure hunting at Port Fourchon public beach in Louisiana!

That is a nice big redfish! What did you catch him with? Crab, shrimp or artificial?

Hi, I caught him with Finger Mullet I caught in a ditch with my castnet on the way to the beach. I catch them all the time! Go to www.LaFishMag.com All I find on the beach is clad coins, and pieces from shrimp bots, small lights etc buried in the sand. There is supposed to be pirate treasure around here.

Nice bull red! Where I am from Mullet as as good eating as the reds.

Howdee Paul! Great to see you! What a nice bull red...love catching em, some may take up to 45 min to land but that's ok, long as I have the strength to do it. Check out the Jack I caught, (look in my mug). I've fished all up & down from Leeville to GI. I've yet to MD down there, but will be doing so soon. Save me some goodies to find.

Hi, I used to fish at Elmers Island for years, it is closed off now, The Hurricane "Katrina" wiped out the beach and opened up cuts everywhere. There is no road there on the beach now.
