Building a sluice box, need help.

Hello there, I'm a newbie and am going to build a stream sluice box approx. 48 long x10 inches wide of sluice in it there will be a flare at the upstream side. I'm wondering what kind of riffles I should install and what angle to weld them in at or should I scrap that and go with gold hog mats? Also what spacing is preferable ?If this has been covered before( which I'm sure it has), steer my in the right direction. Thank you steve
