I was driving home from work, and saw a spot that called out to me.

I found a cool Buffalo Nickle, and a thing that I can't identify.

I wetted the nickle and a toothbrush, put a dab of dishsoap, and a tiny sprinkle of Barkeepers Friend on the toothbrush, then a light rubbing.
