Went to Tybee Island for a few days. You know, spend money, eat too much, get sunburned...but it wasn't a complete bust. We were in some dinky shop so the missus could look at trinkets. She bought something and asked if I had some change. I was going through what I had in my pocket and spotted this. Made the trip worth it!

Good thing you noticed it before you passed it over the counter to someone else.

Real surprised the shape it is in - great find PepperDawg! Thanks for sharing...

And with a date too as a bonus!

Love that Buff!

Congrats on the bonus find. I haven't been yet to Tybee, have looked on line and talked to a few that have been and all enjoyed their time there.

Hard to find those anymore in change. Based on the condition, it can't have been circulating for 80 years. Probably some kid pulled it from a coin collection and got it back into circulation. Good for you to have it now! :icon_thumleft:
