Buffalo and a couple of Mercury dimes...

Sorry no photo yet but I found my first Buffalo yesterday evening. Having trouble seeing a date on the coin. Is it possible that it doesn't have one? I looked the coin over thoroughly with magnification. Did they make them like this? Found them on the dimes though! Only took me 1 1/2 years to find one.! It was fun though.

Sounds like some cool finds, can't wait for pictures! Dateless buffalo nickles happen from wear, the date is a high point on the coin. So it is one of the first things to get worn off. Dateless buffalo's hold little or no collector value, cause collectors can't tell much about it without a date. You can get stuff called Nic-a-date I think or something like that. It may make what little evidence of the date remains to appear. The date on Buffalo Nickles is on the side with the Indian on his shoulder.

Congratulations. What's the dates on the dimes? Where'd you find them?
