Hello all, just looking for thoughts on this piece. I picked it up from a local Antique store. It ha a small note that said 'Burmese Mountain Jade Buddha', 'Early 19th Century'. My online researching brought to so,e that were between 17th and 18th Centuries. Have no real clue but picked it up just because of the look. Any ideas on age and value would be great. Thank you for the assistance.

I agree it looks modern. Could be wrong. I have a feeling that he was depicted as chubby in more recent times. I think an older buddah may have been depicted as leaner with a pointed cap and perhaps more fully clothed. Does not appear to be jade.
