I am trying to ID a handful of buckles. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. 20200404_204610.jpg20200404_204549.jpg20200404_204538.jpg20200404_204600.jpg

Buckle number 2 is a spectacle buckle mid 1600s-early 1700s.
Buckle number 3 is a 1700s shoe buckle.
Buckle number 5 is the same type of buckle as number 3 but more elaborate.

Thanks for the reply.
Much appreciated.
Any idea on dates on the other ones?

No problem, I can guess on the other buckles but am not 100% sure.
The first one is probably a mid-late 1800s sash buckle.
The fourth one is confusing me. Something makes me want to say its from the late 1600s but it also looks like it could be from the 1800s.
Again the ID's on these 2 are just educated guesses and I'm not 100%

I think you're right about the 4th one being 1800s. I should have posted a 2nd pic of that which shows it's embossed
That's a give away I think.
