I'm not sure these are all buckles. And I'm not used to seeing holes in the post for the tongue.

Can you see in each one where the post (iron - now rusted out) would have gone through in the two without tongues?

To best figure these out, we really need a good closeup picture of the back. I'm particularly interested in the one with the design.

Different looking "buckles." Nice find.

Well into the 1800s, only value is to the finder, additions to his relic case.
