Buckles found at circa 1860's homesite

I found all three of these buckles at a homesite that dates back to the 1860's or so. I'm not saying they're that old. In fact I have no idea how old they might be. Is there any way to date generic looking buckles like this? The larger one has a nice patina on it. I forgot to include a coin for size comparison. They are all quite small. A quarter barely fits into the opening in the largest buckle.

I agree they appear to be strap buckles. They were used on livery. Still cool finds. I find them on occasion here in NH at sites dating to the mid 1800's.

I have found many of these. The only buckles really worth anything are shoe buckles. I have yet to find any. These are many farm buckles for straps or animals. Still nice finds and I keep all of the ones I dig.
