This post is seperate because of 2 things,,
1. Buckleboy you are da man I went through some old buttons and started cleaning them,, wow. I would have pictured some before but I didn't know they were worth a durn. And I am Impatient. A little lazy possibly.
2. a)Does anyone know if the two buttons are Phillipines era navy? The single one is Union navy(note small cannon balls)
b)The queen looking thing is in the process, has a loop on the back like for a belt but it is way too fragile to hold real weight.
It also doesnt appear to be flaking in any way in the area I have cleaned so far.
c) The VR&P button appears to be circa 1909 Va. Railway & Power Co. I can't find any other pics anywhere yet.
Buckleboy has just made a new hobby for me,, I had given up working on this stuff years ago.
