Hello YoungGunTHer... Welcome to TreasureNet!

Can you tell us the size of the buckle?

Is this how I answer Question's or can I change my original Post. Let me start by apologizing for the giant picture. I didn't think the coin trick was necessary since it was a buckle, but it is an inch and a half on all sides.

Thanks! Yea.. perfect reply. Don't get offended when someone asks because the same "type" might be a different "size".

One and a half inches might mean suspender or shoe buckle, and three inches might mean belt or strap buckle.

I have one similar to it--with two off-center bars across it. I always thought it was horse related. Found at a house that dated to about 1910. Mine is the same dimensions as well.

Just in case you don't know...Odiorne Point State Park,Rye is on of several listed historic state parks in new hampshire and detecting is not allowed there. In most other NH state parks detecting is allowed with permission. I am not sure but I think even the beach might be considered part of the park...check it out

If this is so please stay out of there because you will get yourself into BIG trouble if caught and hunting on state/government property where we are not meant to be tends to lead to blanket ban's on all state propertys.
