Anyone on age/value? Found this at my neighbors house and gave it to him for letting me detect. Unfortunately, it's all I ended up finding. He was wondering how old it was and how much it was worth. I told him I would post it for smart folks here to ID and appraise. Its hard to see in the pic but it is bronze or brass with a gilt plate. Some of the gilt is still on it.

Looks like a late Victorian "faux buckle" sash slide or pin. When attached, it created the illusion that the buckle tine pierced the fabric beneath. There are also faux shoe buckles of similar design.
