✅ SOLVED Buckle?

It looks to be a half of a buckle.

I believe it's copper and came from 1800's site.

Yep, That's exactly what it is. The bent circle thing is to connect to the other half of the sash buckle and the bar is to attach it to the clothing.

Here's one I found a while back, in my case both parts were found.
