I'm hoping someone can give me some info about this brass buckle. It's 1 1/2" long x 1 1/8" wide x 1/8 thick. The tongue (pin) is missing, I think it was fixed, not movable. I found it on a farm with colonial era items. Thanks for your help.
looks like a Harness Buckle.
