Buckle or Not

I found this what I believe is some type of belt buckle in an old ghost town. Made of copper. Any help would be great.

Yuppers... it's a very simple one-piece buckle.

I think.

Nope. Mid to Late 1800s? But I'm still looking and hope to find a comparible example... Tony will come along and ID it for you anyway I hope... but I'm still looking.
