Partially solved . Suspender Adjusters and unknown engraved item.

The boys and I found these at an old homesite.
The one has engraving on it ,is very thin and appears to be made of brass .
The 2 buckle looking pieces were hooked together .( Suspender Adjusters)
Any ideas on what it is and possible age?

Thanks

The "two buckle-looking pieces" are late-1800s-to-early-1900s suspenders strap-adjuster buckles. Compare them with the ones shown in this 1907 advertizement image. Yours might not be from the same brand of suspenders, but their shape is almost exactly the same.

I just now noticed I attached the wrong advertizement image. I've replaced it with the correct one. In it, you can see the strap-adjustment buckles.
