found this bronze decorated piece today. slightly concave, 1 1/4"x1 1/2" at break point. what appears to be the front has a Stag in full run. the back has what could be a mountain lion, cougar, of maybe a dog. it is heavy and very detailed. looks as if it was made with a cut out near the middle. wish i could find the other half.
also have a watch fob that i can not id, any idea's?

I believe your cast brass item is part of the hand guard from a small sword or dirk.

The "watch fob" item is more likely part of a Victorian decorative fashion belt buckle, for women's dress attire.
