buckle id please

any info or date, the size is 1 9/16" by 1 3/8" it is copper and had a silver wash on it thanks.

It looks like a ladies buckle, maybe mid to late 1800's

Could be Va, but it looks to me like a scarf slide.

I thought it was a buckle because it has a hook opposite the bar. I could be wrong though
