Buckle ID help

The half is for size reference. Found this wreath buckle (?) Friday about 30 feet from where I found a snake tongue buckle. It's brass and about 1.5 x 1.75 inches. No marks that I can see. Thanks for any help.

Looks like half of a Victorian sash buckle.

I was thinking the female half a tounge and reef buckle. I think that's what they are called..
