✅ SOLVED buckle help, ID

OK here are two buckles I found in the same yard central MD, in a cabin site dating back to 1820s one is silver and is stamped xxx... INR...MW this was posted in today's finds yesterday under cabin silver night 3

Very fancy shoe buckles from a very wealthy man! I would guess late 18th C. By 1820 no one was wearing these anymore.

INR could be Joseph & Nathaniel Richardson of Philadelphia. Back then the letter J was often represented as I.

Pretty sure these are your buckle makers. That is an excellent find!

Now let's find out who owned the property back then.
