Having gotten no replies about your buckle, you asked if anybody has any ideas about it. I've never seen one quite like it. All I can tell you is, your buckle has "stays" on the central bar (to keep the tongue from sliding sideways on the bar, out of position), and the presence of the "stays" dates it to being from the Turn-of-the-Century or later.

Thanks for the info TCG. I get the feeling that it is fairly modern just from holding it. I am thinking 60-70s.
