Found a silver nickle belt buckle and a 1940 / 50's Tootsie Toy Greyhound Bus on today's hunt. Both were buried in sandy ground 6 to 8 inches deep.
The buckle looks to have had star shaped stones or decorative pieces on each corner. Only writing I have found on it is the nickel silver label imprinted on the inner side of the buckle.
The bus has blue paint on it and the wheels are still in good shape. The axels are in bad shape, but are still connected to the wheels.
Fun hunt!
