Buckle and big iron

A modern buckle and unknown iron need id


I found today what looks like a modern buckle. Note the hammered surface and on the center snap closure are the letters U C F C. Perhaps you've found one like this and have a date of manufacture.

The other item is a large iron attachment. Doesn't look like a furrowing blade, but then I'm not certain, therefore the post. Any ideas?

The buckle looks to be a vintage ladies bathing cap buckle, I have found several at an old beach. The iron object looks like a cultivator point of some sort though I couldn't find that exact style online.

Thank you, Steve. Now that you mention it, that buckle does resemble what I've seen on bathing caps. Turned up in the middle of the woods.
I agree that the iron is a cultivator attachment but will see what others say.

Off a front end loader, like a manure loader on an 8N Ford. Not a heavy duty tooth, and I don't really know because I've never had anything to do with an 8N, but I've seen them around, and the buckets darn sure weren't heavy duty for serious digging, just better than doing it by hand.

That's because we dealt with unhooking her back strap hook BosnMate. I've seen this snap on the shoulder straps for adjusting, the back strap had one similar bur larger without the snap and the 4 sharp points, .

lol. I periodically find these and have a few just like it but without the nice dotting that the OP's Here's a 2 prong one that I put with my keepers.
