I got out for a hunt yesterday using the Deus 2 with the new 1.0 update. I started the day off in General Full Tones and had the issue with iron nails falsing like crazy. I dug several old roofing nails until I finally stopped digging the 85-86 signals. I tried running my silencer up to 4 but it didn't seem to tame the falsing. I ended up switching to Sensitive Full Tones and started having more luck. The first yard I hunted I really didn't have much luck other than the great seal collar disk. I ended up moving on to another yard late in the day and met a really nice homeowner that took up my offer to use my spare detector I keep in the truck. Long story short I relearned why we always doublecheck our holes. The homeowner pulled a general service button out of a hole that I had pulled a different target out of! I felt a little silly for that. The look on the homeowner's face made up for my folly as he would have something exciting to give to his son. I made up for that blunder by pulling my first Barber quarter! I then found a really cool tag that was every bit of 10" down under a root. The tag that says 1 GAL I am unsure of. Does anybody know what this is? I assume it is something redeemable for 1 Gallon of milk possibly but that is my best guess. I also had some excitement when I started looking at one of the wheat pennies as it is a 1909 S. Try as I might, I just could not look "V.D.B." into existence. That was a fun hunt regardless!

Very Nice!!!!! Congrats!!!!

That's an awful nice collection of finds ShortbusElite. The Barber quarter is a winner! Such a beautiful coin. Also love the Girl Scout pin. That's a pretty piece.

Thank you. It has taken me quite some time to find one!
